Wall Street Journal reports that, according to preliminary information, a Kuwaiti F/A-18 fighter has accidentally shot down three American F-15 aircraft.
Friendly fire incidents are not uncommon in complex operations, but the loss of three advanced fighters in a single incident suggests significant coordination failures.
